5th Party for the kids of Philcoa- Dec. 21,2008

An afternoon full of kid's happy faces.
A hundred kids. 105 to be exact
Ates' and kuyas' who served with compassionate hearts.

And ate's and kuya's who supported and gave even from miles away.

That's how I am going to sum up this year's party.

But that is not the whole story.

Preparing for this party has been a challenging task for me. More and more kids are milling around the Philcoa area and were expectant always asking about the party starting November. I cannot answer them directly nor look at them in the eye. I just knew that God wouldn’t disappoint them. But I was anxious. I don't know if I can handle this year's party. It was emotionally taxing for me. But God so loves the little children, that He helped me overcome it and believe for greater provision and people who will help me for the task.
People just started volunteering to help for the party, in the gym, my old friends, new friends, and even people I don't even know.
Thank you An, Helen, Ate Jo, Co, my spiritual family for always encouraging me not to give up and to continue loving the children despite and in spite of.
Thank you Din, for partnering with me for this cause. Thank you for all your help, raising money, cooking and using your resources and your people from Derm Stress Clinic and Gabby's Steakhouse.
Thank you Jen Luna, a person I haven't yet met but sent money all the way from States. The kids were able to ate spaghetti, hotdogs, chicken. They had enough.
Thank you Jerry, and your friends from Singapore who sent aid to us. It went to the groceries of the kids!
Thank you for my CPRM Family, to Boss Vicky, Ms Jay, Tin and Sir Jon for sending me aid again and again.
Thank you Lel and Judson for your support It went to the prizes of the kids! Every kid received even a consolation prize.=)
Thank you to Kuya Nel and Ate Danilyn for all your help, the lechon and the school supplies and for being there during the party. I am so glad to finally have met you.
Thank you Noel and Tintin for your support.
Thank you Ate Jo and Les for the gifts and Shiela for coming to help out.
Thank you John Mark for all your help, the invitations, the bookmarks, your support, etc. Thank you, thank you. Even if you weren't able to come, I appreciate all your help.
Thank you Jake Miranda and Shaun for your support.
Thank you Donna and her Nanay for the gifts.
Thank you Neil and his friends, Eva, Leony and Givi for the gifts and all your help.
Thank you Julius and Mia for driving me all the way to Laguna to get the gifts.

Thank you Doven for the clown and also for driving me getting all the groceries and packing them until midnight.
Thank you to Ate April and my housemates for all your support.
And of course, thank you to my beautiful cosechuwadeses from JAL, Awy for the delightful chocolates and Gem and her beautiful friend for helping out during the party.
Thank you Pat and Bobby for helping out.
Thank you Kuya Francis and your friend for helping us bring the sacks of groceries to the venue. Just like God provided a donkey for Jesus to be used during His entry to Jerusalem, God provided an Innova to be used transporting the groceries. Can you believe that? Haha.
Thank you Kap for sending the three tanods to guard the gates. There was peace and order during and after the event because of you.
Thank you Prof. Xiao for sharing factual stories to the kids. The story about Jesus and Andres Bonifacio were really appropriate for the event. Indeed, Andres Bonifacio is the hero for the underprivileged.
Thank you Kuya Bugoy (the clown) for making the kids happy. Thank you for making 100 animal shaped balloons for all the kids. =)
Thank you Kuya Eric for the venue.
Thank you Mcrhon for being the impromptu emcee. Galing.
And of course, thank you to my dearest cousin Ate Jam, and Orly for all the help, the assistance in packing all the groceries, going to divisoria to buy prizes, etc.

Doumo Arigatou Gozaimashita. =)

I am humbled. Deeply humbled with all your help. It was after all His Work, His Plan and His Provision.
